The roundabout has been under reconstruction and modification over the past half year to turn the former uncontrolled 2 lane roundabout into a signalised roundabout which required significant widening to support traffic stacking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new layout has;<br>Toucan crossings across the northern arm to allow pedestrians and cyclists to safely cross the dual carriageway. There are also short sections of shared cycleways on either side too.<br>Traffic signal controls on three of the arms.<br>Widened 4 lane approach from the North on the A24 dual carriageway.<br>Widened
