{"id":797,"date":"2022-03-15T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-15T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sussex-transport.net\/?p=797"},"modified":"2022-03-14T20:54:35","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T20:54:35","slug":"overwhelming-support-for-school-streets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sussex-transport.net\/index.php\/2022\/03\/15\/overwhelming-support-for-school-streets\/","title":{"rendered":"Overwhelming support for school streets"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Last year B&amp;HCC <a href=\"https:\/\/sussex-transport.net\/index.php\/2021\/10\/19\/second-round-of-school-streets-in-brighton-hove-put-to-consultation\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"541\">launched a consultation<\/a> on 6 new school streets in the city and its been reported that the schemes approvals ranged from 73.4% to 87.5% with 740 responses recorded between all of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the schemes will be installed over the Easter holidays at St Mary&#8217;s RC, this is one of the smaller schemes as it is located on a cul-de-sac and only include timed motor vehicle restrictions &amp; a gate.
