As a section 278 condition of the housing development on the old wastewater treatment works, the roundabouts at Fairbridge where the A273 & B2036 meet are going to be reconstructed to provide for better aligned carriageways.
These works are due to take 6 months to complete and will start in February 2022, and a website has been launched to keep the public up to date with the works.
Cuckfield Road will be closed from the 9th February to 6th May, this will improve traffic flow through the junction under three-way signals instead of four-way signals as well as speeding up the overall construction by 6-8 weeks
