East Sussex County Council are currently consulting on a speed limit reduction on Polegate High Street to 20mph from the current 30mph as well as minor road layout adjustments to make bus stops easier to buses to enter & exit and provide accessible kerbs for level bording.
All sideroads will also have tactile paving installed for greater accessibility as well as localised footway resurfacing.
The consultation runs from the 1st November to the 26th November and residents can provide their feedback and comments on the proposed changes on their website.
